A Structured Process for Deeper Self-Inquiry
Spiritual Self Analysis
Jonathan Yorks, Clinical Hypnotherapist
Spiritual Self Analysis is a structured five-session process for the careful examination of identity, meaning, inner patterning, and psychospiritual life.
This work is intended for individuals whose central aim is not clinical treatment of a defined psychological problem, but a deeper and more structured examination of self, recurring life patterning, existential meaning, and spiritual experience.
It is not organized around inspiration, belief confirmation, or spiritual reassurance. Its function is disciplined inquiry. The process uses regression-based access and careful post-regression analysis to help make underlying patterns more visible and translate symbolic material into meaningful present-life understanding.
Offered in person in Newton, Massachusetts for individuals in Boston and the surrounding areas, with online sessions available when in-person work is not practical.
A Defined Five-Session Process
Three Past Life Regression Sessions
The process begins with three Past Life Regression sessions. These sessions help surface recurring symbolic themes, emotional patterns, identity formations, and deeper structures of meaning.
One Life Between Lives Regression Session
The Life Between Lives session broadens the field of inquiry and may bring forward material related to belonging, responsibility, guidance, spiritual self-concept, purpose, and larger identity organization.
One Final Deep Process Session
The final session is devoted to synthesis, interpretation, and present-life integration. It is where the sequence is examined as a whole.
Interpretive Restraint
The material is approached neither as mere fantasy nor as literal doctrine. Experiences, images, and symbolic narratives are examined carefully, with psychological seriousness and ontological neutrality.
Present-Life Integration
The aim is not simply to generate unusual experiences. The aim is to understand what the sequence reveals, how it relates to present life, and what form of integration may now be possible.
Begin with the Right Entry Point
Regression work is approached carefully, with attention to fit, readiness, and the context in which the session is being undertaken. Whether therapeutic or exploratory, sessions are designed to address the uniqueness of each person drawn to the work.

Things to know
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Spiritual Self Analysis?
Spiritual Self Analysis is a structured five-session process for examining identity, meaning, recurring life patterning, and psychospiritual experience.
It combines regression-based access with careful post-regression analysis. The aim is not simply to have unusual experiences, but to examine what the material may reveal about deeper self-organization, recurring symbolic themes, and present-life meaning.
2. Is this a single session?
No.
Spiritual Self Analysis is not a single session and not a loosely defined spiritual exploration. It is a defined five-session process consisting of three Past Life Regression sessions, one Life Between Lives Regression session, and one final deep process session devoted to synthesis, interpretation, and integration.
3. Who is this work for?
This work is for individuals who are psychologically minded, reflective, and drawn to a serious form of inner inquiry.
It may be appropriate for those who feel conventional reflection does not reach deeply enough into the questions they are carrying, but who do not want those questions handled in a vague, theatrical, or overly mystical way.
4. What kinds of questions lead someone to this process?
People may seek Spiritual Self Analysis when they are trying to understand why certain life themes or inner conflicts repeat, why emotional or relational patterns carry unusual depth, how identity has been organized beneath ordinary biography, or how spiritual questions can be examined seriously without losing psychological grounding.
5. Is this clinical treatment?
No.
Although important emotional insight may emerge, Spiritual Self Analysis is not organized as a clinical treatment pathway. It is not designed around symptom reduction, treatment planning, or the clinical management of a presenting problem.
It is a structured exploratory process for examining deeper self-organization, recurring symbolic material, and questions of meaning.
6. How is this different from Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Clinical Hypnotherapy is the primary clinical domain of the practice. It begins with an Initial Intake and is designed to clarify presenting problems, underlying patterns, and treatment direction.
Spiritual Self Analysis serves a different function. It is exploratory rather than treatment-oriented, and it is organized around deeper questions of identity, meaning, symbolic material, and psychospiritual life.
7. How is this different from general spiritual exploration?
This process is not based on belief instruction, intuitive performance, affirmation, or metaphysical persuasion.
Experiences, images, and symbolic narratives are approached carefully and interpreted with restraint. Spiritual language, when it appears, is treated as part of the symbolic and psychological material of the work, not as self-validating truth.
8. Do I need to believe in past lives or spiritual imagery?
No fixed belief position is required.
The material arising in this process is approached neither as mere fantasy nor as literal doctrine. The task is not to prove metaphysical claims, but to understand what the imagery, narrative, emotional tone, and symbolic organization may be expressing.
9. Why does this begin with a brief introductory call?
Spiritual Self Analysis begins with a brief introductory call because the process is substantial and selective.
The call is used to determine whether the offering is an appropriate fit, whether your aims are well matched to the structure of the work, and whether this is the right point of entry within the practice.
10. What happens after the introductory call?
If the Brief Introductory Call indicates that Spiritual Self Analysis is an appropriate fit, the process is structured formally.
Preparatory materials are provided in advance and the session sequence is established clearly. If the offering does not appear to be the right match, a different point of entry within the practice may be recommended.
11. What happens in the final deep process session?
The final session is the interpretive and integrative phase of Spiritual Self Analysis.
It is not simply a closing conversation. The material from the prior regression sessions is examined for recurring themes, present-life parallels, identity structures, emotional patterns, and psychospiritual tensions or lessons. The aim is synthesis and integration.
12. Is this available online?
Yes.
Spiritual Self Analysis is offered in person in Newton, Massachusetts for individuals in Boston and the surrounding areas. Online sessions are also available when in-person work is not practical.
13. Is this a casual entry point into regression work?
No.
Because the process is selective and substantial, it is not intended as a casual first step into exploratory work. It is intended for individuals for whom this particular form of inquiry appears appropriate and well-timed.
14. How do I begin?
The first step is to request a brief introductory call.
This call is used for screening, fit, and clarification before entry into the process.
